Burmese Tamils embracing exile in India
About 50 years ago, thousands of Indian-origin people were forced out of Burma (now also known as Myanmar) by the military which seized power.
Most of their families had come from southern India, so the refugees landed in the Indian city of Madras (now called Chennai).
A few months later, many went to the north-eastern Indian state of Manipur but the Burmese military stopped them from returning at the border.
The refugees decided to settle temporarily in the town of Moreh.
Five decades later many are now leaving to find better opportunities in other parts of India.
The BBC's Anbarasan Ethirajan talked to some of them.
