Heavy rain continues to cause misery in China

Heavy rain continues to cause misery in China. The state-run news agency Xinhua says 36 people have died and 23 are still missing following storms around the city of Longnan in Gansu Province.

Another area of Gansu was hit by landslides and flooding last week which left more than 1,200 dead.
