New Zealand mine blast caught on CCTV

Authorities in New Zealand have released CCTV images of the moment the blast tore through the Pike River mine.

It shows stonedust being blown out of the entrance to the mine tunnel for several seconds after the explosion, which the authorities say occurred inside the mine, 2.5km (1.55 miles) away.

As the BBC's Phil Mercer explains, hope of finding the miners alive is fading.
