Tony Abbott: I 'will never let down' the Australian people
Tony Abbott has said that he "will never let down" the Australian people in the aftermath of the Sydney siege.
The prime minister pledged to make the Australian people "as safe as any government" could.
He said that his government and the security services would learn from the recent siege in a Sydney cafe, which saw two hostages and the gunman killed.
