David Hicks speaks out after terror conviction is overturned
Former Guantanamo Bay detainee, Australian David Hicks, has been speaking out after his terrorism conviction was overturned by the US.
Mr Hicks told a reporters it was a relief it was over but he would still have to live with the "five and half years of physical and psychological torture" he had endured.
US civilian courts have ruled that the charge of providing material support for terrorism cannot be considered a war crime in cases that were brought for actions before 2006, when new laws were adopted.
