Australia: Paddling for whales in Queensland's Hervey Bay
Supporters of whale conservation have taken to the waters of Hervey Bay in Queensland to celebrate National Whale Day in Australia.
Hervey Bay is a stopping point for humpback whales migrating from the Antarctic to calve in the warmer waters off the eastern coast of Australia.
People taking part in the annual "Paddle Out for Whales" event raised their paddles and held a minute's silence to remember whales killed by hunters.
