Spain joins Europe strikes over austerity measures

Strikes are expected in countries across Europe on Wednesday as unions try to persuade governments not to cut their budgets sharply.

Trades unions in Brussels are hoping 100,000 people from all over Europe will turn out for a rally.

Spain and many other countries are attempting to slash their huge mountains of debt which have been dragging down the value of the Euro.

There's a general strike in Spain, with buses, trains and planes all disrupted.
