Milan's women rally against Silvio Berlusconi

Several thousand women braved the rain in Milan to rally against Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Protests were organised in dozens of towns and cities throughout Italy.

Demonstrators say Mr Berlusconi has demeaned women by his recent run of sex scandals, and want him to resign.

He has denied any wrongdoing, saying the current investigations against him are politically motivated.
