Ireland Queen visit: Unprecedented security

The Queen will make the first visit by a British monarch to the Republic of Ireland.

It is being seen on both sides of the Irish Sea as the start of a new era in relations.

The last British monarch to visit was George V, a century ago, when Ireland was still under British rule.

An unprecedented security operation is being mounted amid concern dissident republicans could try to disrupt the visit.

Mark Simpson reports.
