Officials say E. coli outbreak not from Spanish cucumbers

The Spanish government has said it is considering legal action against the authorities in the German city of Hamburg for wrongly blaming a major outbreak of E. coli on Spanish vegetables.

The German Health Ministry says another 365 people are now suffering from an E. coli outbreak which has killed 17 people, all bar one in Germany.

Officials have said the outbreak was not caused by contaminated cucumbers from Spain.
