Rainstorm interrupts Pope's speech in Spain

A sudden rainstorm interrupted Pope Benedict XVI's speech to hundreds of thousands of young people at Madrid's Cuatro Vientos airport.

Firefighters had hosed down the pilgrims while they waited in in temperatures of nearly 40C.

But as the Pope was speaking the weather suddenly broke, drenching the crowd.
