Delors: Eurozone faulty from start

The former European Commission president, Jacques Delors - one of the architects of the Euro - has said the current crisis stems from a fault in the way the single currency was introduced.

Ahead of a crucial Euro-summit next week, he told The Daily Telegraph that not enough attention was paid to the economic weaknesses of some member states. He also accused current leaders of doing too little too late.
