Greece debt: Protesters clash with police over austerity

There have been clashes in Greece between riot police and protesters venting their fury at government austerity measures.

Petrol bombs and stones were thrown at the security forces, as unions began a two-day general strike.

Prime Minister Lucas Papademos has warned that Greece could face "uncontrolled chaos" if it fails to agree austerity measures and defaults on its debts.
