Anti-austerity votes concern EU

As Greek voters punished the parties that backed EU austerity conditions, the new French President Francois Hollande has said one of his first acts will be to attempt to renegotiate the EU fiscal pact.

But ahead of a meeting with Mr Hollande next week, German Chancellor Angela Merkel says the deal, signed by 25 of the EU's 27 member states, cannot and should not be changed.
