Four-year-old 'hid under woman's skirt'

The four-year-old girl found alive in a car eight hours after three adults were found dead in it, had hidden under the dress of the woman who died, prosecutor Eric Maillaud has told the BBC.

Another child, found earlier staggering towards the car in the French Alps, is in a medically-induced coma, he told Jon Sopel.

She was shot in the shoulder and beaten and her life is thought to have been saved by the man who found her. A cyclist was found dead nearby.
