Pussy Riot case: One defendant freed in Russia

A Moscow court has freed one of the members of the punk band Pussy Riot, who were jailed in August for staging an anti-Kremlin protest in Moscow's main cathedral.

Earlier the trio spoke defiantly at the appeal hearing, saying their protest song was political and not anti-Church.

The BBC's Steve Rosenberg gave BBC World more details.
