Travel hit by European snow storms

Air and road transport in parts of Europe have been disrupted following heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures.

Almost 700 people were trapped in their cars in Serbia, and the army was drafted in to help the emergency services to clear the roads.

Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt, was forced to suspend all incoming flights due to heavy snowfall, stranding many passengers.
