Cypriots flock to food charities as banks remain closed
Hundreds of Cypriots have turned to charity community kitchens for food after banks closures left them without money to buy groceries.
A charity in Nicosia said the number of people looking for help has more than doubled, as the country struggles to get to grips with its financial crisis.
The banks have been shut since 15 March while the controversial 10bn-euro bailout for the Cypriot economy was negotiated.
