Pope Francis leads Good Friday rite at Colosseum in Rome

Pope Francis is presiding over Easter services for the first time as the head of the Catholic Church.

The Way of the Cross, the Good Friday procession at the Colosseum in Rome, recalled the final hours of Jesus Christ's life leading up to the crucifixion, in a series of prayers and meditations.

On Easter Sunday, the pontiff will deliver his first "Urbi et Orbi" message to the city of Rome and to the world.

David Willey reports.
