Sochi 2014: Moscow's Red Square greets Olympic flame

The Olympic flame has arrived in Moscow carried in a lantern on a plane decorated in the colours of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.

It was transported to Moscow's Red Square where President Vladimir Putin used it to light the Olympic relay torch surrounded by a throng of athletes.

The 22nd Winter Olympics will begin in Sochi on 7 February.
