Ukraine crisis: Navy base remains loyal to Ukraine
At the Ukraine navy headquarters in Sevastopol a pro-Russian crowd has ripped down banners and shouted insults at the men trapped inside.
But the personnel who are now under siege in their barracks have told the BBC that they will not leave.
On Sunday the newly appointed head of Ukraine's navy swore allegiance to the Crimea region, in the presence of its unrecognised pro-Russian leader.
