Soldiers at Ukraine air base given choice to stay or go

Ukraine has ordered its armed forces to withdraw from Crimea, following the capture of its last military base on the peninsula.

The Ukrainian air base in Evpatoria was blockaded for three weeks before the Russian flag was raised over the base on Friday.

Military personnel and their families were given a choice - pledge allegiance to Russia, quit the army and stay in Crimea or leave for mainland Ukraine.

They spoke to the BBC about how they came to their decision.
