Ukraine crisis: Referendums 'a farce' - President Turchynov
Ukraine's interim president has branded referendums organised by pro-Russian groups in the east of the country as "farcical".
Olexander Turchynov said the votes were "nothing more than propaganda to hide killings, torture and kidnappings".
Separatists in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions say 89% and 96% respectively voted in favour of "self-rule".
