Will Russia's Western sanctions hit shoppers?

Russia is imposing a ban on food imports from the EU, US and other Western countries in response to sanctions over Ukraine.

In some big cities, such as Moscow, it is estimated that 60% of food is imported.

The embargo covers meat, fish, dairy products and fruit and vegetables, with Russia seeking alternatives from places such as South America, as well as encouraging domestic suppliers to boost production.

Steve Rosenberg asks if Russia's shoppers will be affected.
