Iceland volcano: Strong quakes around Bardarbunga

Two earthquakes measuring 5.3 and 5.1 have been detected beneath Iceland's Bardarbunga volcano.

Authorities in Iceland said there had not been a major eruption but have issued a warning to aviation and they have declared a no-fly zone of 100 nautical miles around the epicentre as a precaution.
