Ukraine conflict: Poroshenko calls for OSCE flashpoint backup
Ukraine's president has urged a European security organisation to monitor points where a fragile ceasefire with pro-Russian separatists are being violated.
Petro Poroshenko called on the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to send representatives to the six points where post-ceasefire clashes have been reported.
He was speaking during a visit to the strategic south-eastern port city of Mariupol, which has come under shelling from pro-Russian rebels in recent days.
