Ukraine crisis: Russian menu changes after sanctions

Parmesan cheese, stilton and serrano ham were all things Russia's expanding middle class had grown used to - but they are among the items that have disappeared from Russian menus since President Putin banned fresh food imports from the West.

His move was retaliation for economic sanctions against Moscow over its actions in Ukraine. But a new patriotic mood is persuading many Russians to shrug off the new shortages.
