Poroshenko condemns elections plans in Donetsk and Luhansk
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has condemned the upcoming elections in the eastern cities of Donetsk and Luhansk.
He says the votes go against the country's laws and will not be recognised by the international community.
Pro-Russian rebel forces still have a tight grip of the Donbass region, and now the self-proclaimed republics there are pushing for full independence.
