Germanwings co-pilot started descent, French prosecutor says

The co-pilot of the Germanwings plane that crashed in the French Alps on Tuesday appeared to want to destroy the plane, French officials have said.

Speaking at a news briefing, Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said voice recordings showed co-pilot was alone in the cockpit and intentionally started a descent while the pilot was locked out.
