WW2 rescue mission defended Tyrol castle from SS troops

A medieval castle in Austria was a prison during World War Two where many important French officials were held.

In the final week of the war Austrian resistance members worked with arriving US troops to save the lives of many inside.

Diehard SS troops, not yet prepared to surrender, were trying to kill prisoners before the Allied forces arrived.

Robert Hall reports from the Tyrol.
