Gay marriage vote: Church in Ireland 'must reconnect'

One of Ireland's most senior Catholic clerics has said the Church must take a "reality check" after the country overwhelming voted in favour of same-sex marriage.

Diarmuid Martin, the archbishop of Dublin, said the Church had a "huge task" of reconnecting with young people.

Nearly two thirds of voters in Saturday's referendum were in favour of changing the constitution.
