David Cameron: 'Britain has a moral conscience'

David Cameron has said the UK will take in "thousands" more Syrian refugees in response to the present crisis.

The refugees will come from UN camps bordering Syria and not from among people already in Europe.

Speaking on a visit to Madrid, the Prime Minister defended Britain's role in responding to the migrant crisis and said it was now the biggest challenge facing Europe.

James Landale reports.
