EU ministers meet to resolve migrant relocation
European Union ministers are meeting in Brussels to try to resolve differences over how to relocate thousands of migrants among member states.
Efforts to forge a consensus on mandatory quotas have failed and there is strong disagreement about the imposition of financial penalties on countries which refuse to participate in the proposed scheme.
Hungary, which takes one of the strongest lines on the issue, has said European borders are under threat.
