The German town living under border controls

EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Thursday to discuss the future of the Schengen Agreement.

An influx of more than one million migrants has prompted an urgent re-think about the rules governing the 26-nation passport-free zone.

Germany introduced passport controls on its Austrian border last September because of the number of migrants entering the country.

BBC Video Journalist Howard Johnson spent the day in Freilassing, a German town close to the border, to see how the new measures are affecting people there.
