EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Thursday to discuss the future of the Schengen Agreement.

An influx of more than one million migrants has prompted an urgent re-think about the rules governing the 26-nation passport-free zone.

Germany introduced passport controls on its Austrian border last September because of the number of migrants entering the country.
