Ukrainian pilot Savchenko sings as she is sentenced in Russia

The Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko broke out into a traditional Ukrainian song as a Russian judge sentenced her to 22 years in prison.

She has been convicted of charges relating to the deaths of two Russian journalists.

Her lawyers paid little attention to the judge, choosing to look at their phones or read a magazine as he read out sentencing.
