Karadzic trial: 'Verdict of tremendous importance'

Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has been convicted of genocide and war crimes in the 1992-95 Bosnian war, and sentenced to 40 years in jail.

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia Bakir Izetbegovic said it was a verdict of "tremendous importance for Bosnian Serbs and Serbs in the general in the Balkan".
