Miniature therapy ponies soothe Isle of Man hospice patients
Tiny ponies have brightened the day of Isle of Man Hospice patients as part of a session offered by a Manx animal-therapy initiative.
Miniature Shetland horses from Tiny Hooves Therapy visited the day unit at the facility to offer comfort to people receiving care.
Jane Brew, who was one of the group's founders, said the empathetic animals had a "sixth sense".
The response to the ponies at care homes, workplaces and schools has been "incredible", she added.
