Singer Michel Martelly 'wins' Haiti elections

In Haiti, preliminary results in the presidential run-off suggest that the singer Michel Martelly is the winner.

The figures indicate he secured more than two-thirds of the vote, beating the former first lady, Mirlande Manigat.

The new president will face the challenges of a continuing cholera epidemic and the aftermath of last year's devastating earthquake.

Andy Gallacher was in Haiti for the last round of voting.
