The play that sends you to sleep

How often has a trip to the theatre made you want to fall asleep?

Lullaby, showing at the Barbican in London, is a show designed to literally send the audience to the land of nod.

Described as a "romantic rock-a-bye nocturne", spectators are invited to book a bed, wear their pyjamas and have actors and singers "create a nod-off narrative of soothing storytelling and choral cradle song".

In the morning, breakfast is served before the audience is sent on its way.
