David Miranda detention a 'breach of law' - Julian Assange
The detention of a journalist's partner under terror laws is "an attack on journalism in violation of the law", Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has said.
David Miranda, whose partner published documents leaked by the US whistleblower Edward Snowden, was detained and questioned for nine hours at Heathrow Airport.
Senior politicians and an independent reviewer have called on police to explain their action.
