Colombian President Santos 'convinced' of Farc deal support

The Colombian president has told BBC HARDtalk he is "convinced" that an "overwhelming majority" of Colombians will support a peace agreement being negotiated with the Farc rebel group.

Juan Manuel Santos indicated he may resign if the deal is not backed when put to a national vote.

Government negotiators have been engaged in talks with the left-wing rebels in Cuba since November 2012.
