Cuban migrants: Pope offers message of hope

Pope Francis says Central American countries should show generosity in dealing with the rising numbers of Cuban migrants who have become stranded in the region as they attempt to get to the United States.

Thousands of Cubans are stranded on the Costa Rican border with Nicaragua and hundreds more on its border with Panama.
