Egypt unrest: 'Tense atmosphere' in Alexandria

Tens of thousands of Egyptians are taking part in a "day of departure" to try to oust President Hosni Mubarak.

In Egypt's second city of Alexandria there is a heavier police and army presence than in previous days, according to the BBC's Wyre Davies.

He joined anti-government protesters on the streets and described the atmosphere as tense and serious.
