Yemen unrest: Al-Qaeda threat 'could grow'

The ongoing unrest in Yemen means that authorities have "their eye off the ball" when it comes to al-Qaeda in Yemen, a former US ambassador to the country has warned.

Speaking to the BBC, Barbara Bodine said that security forces in Yemen are focused on the political upheaval and "cannot put the time and effort" into fighting terrorism.
