New amateur footage - which has not yet been verified - apparently shows the aftermath of an attack by opposition fighters of the Free Syrian Army, against one of President Assad's tanks.

Meanwhile, a major conference is being held in Tunisia to seek a breakthrough in the increasingly bitter Syrian unrest.
