Activists claim 17 killed in new Syria violence
Syrian activists claim 17 people, including 10 women, have been killed by new shelling in the town of Derra.
The province, in the south of the country, was where the uprising against President Assad's regime first began 15 months ago.
These new reports come after Friday's revelations by UN observers that they had found evidence of a "horrific crime" after going to the village of Qubair, where it is claimed up to eighty civilians were killed.
