Hamas leader Meshaal makes first ever visit to Gaza

The exiled political leader of Hamas, Khaled Meshaal, has been welcomed to the Gaza Strip by thousands of Palestinians in his first ever visit to the territory.

Mr Meshaal, who left the West Bank as a child and leads the Islamic group from Qatar, broke into tears and kissed the ground during his visit.
