John Kerry: Political solution needed in Syria

US Secretary of State John Kerry said that a political solution was essential to end the violence in Syria and save the country.

Speaking after talks with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague, he said: "Nobody wins in Syria the way things are going. The people lose and Syria as a country loses."
