Egypt in 90 seconds: From Mubarak to Morsi

In February 2011, Egypt's President Mubarak stepped down and handed power to the army council, leading to images of jubilation in Tahrir Square that were seen around the world.

Similar scenes greeted the election of President Morsi in June last year.

But a year on, the crowds of protesters in Cairo and across Egypt - both for and against the government - are bigger than ever, with the army once again returning to the centre of the political stage.
