Muslim Brotherhood 'worried but confident' as army moves in
Egypt's military has moved against the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood, a day after deposing President Mohammed Morsi.
Mr Morsi is in detention, as well as senior figures in the Islamist group of which he is a member. Hundreds more are being sought.
Dr Hamza Zoba, a spokesman for the Freedom and Justice Party, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, acknowledged that they had "made mistakes".
But speaking to the BBC's Aleem Maqbool, he said: "We are human... do you think that one year is enough to repair everything? No."
Asked whether he was worried about the coming days, Dr Zoba said: "Worried? Yes... But confident? Yes... Now, we are ready for everything."
